Currently there are a plethora of teacher professional development opportunities being offered in Northwest Indiana. Individually, these workshops are successful at meeting a narrowly defined set of goals for certain teachers. However, rarely do these individual workshops, offered by several different organizations, build on each other to create a rich educational experience that truly develops a teacher’s skills at a level that can ultimately reach the classroom. The professional development series is a collection of training opportunities offered by several different providers meaningfully linked together to enhance the quality and depth of continued education.
