| Detailed Description |
| Grant Writing 101: Nuts and Bolts of Successful Grants will teach the fundamentals of grantsmanship to help participants write and manage successful grants. The class will encompass a five-step program including the following components: (1) Identifying needs and projects; (2) Identifying foundation grant makers; (3) Writing successful grant proposals; (4) Cultivating grant makers; and (5) Accountability. All participants will receive a copy of the author’s book titled, “Let’s Write a Grant,” a $50 value and take-home guide for writing future proposals. Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to (1) identify the five-step grantsmanship process, (2) research prospects to identify the best funding sources for their schools and projects; and (3) write a foundation grant proposal utilizing a standard format. Glenda assists organizations with their grant seeking efforts to foundations and government agencies. She is recognized especially for a 100% success rate planning and writing federal grants. Her consultation has resulted in applications ranking first in the nation and tallying perfect scores.
