Detailed Description
There is narrative, expository, and persuasive writing… but the newest genre that seems to go unmentioned is the test-writing genre. This one requires students to apply their writing skills on demand, all in one-sitting, and on a prompted topic. Because of the nature of this writing, it requires some specific classroom instruction. Learn how to target those skills within this one-day workshop. Audience: Grade 3-12 Administrators, School Teachers, and Curriculum Directors. January 28, 2010 (Deadline to register is January 8, 2010). 9:00AM-3:00PM (doors open at 8;30AM). $125- NWIESC Members; $175 – Non-Members. Fee includes meals and materials. Location: NWIESC. 1 credit hour of graduate level credit will be provided (for an additional fee)
